We are committed to developing students who are academically prepared, socially responsible, and inspired to lead.

  • Diverse and competitive programs in athletics, fine arts, and academics
  • A growing number of students earning industry certifications, college credit, and scholarships
  • Strong traditions in student leadership, campus spirit, and community engagement
  • Collaborative staff committed to student success and positive school culture
  • Supportive counseling services, inclusive student organizations, and a full array of extracurricular opportunities

Our History

Chisholm Trail High School opened in 2012, created through funding from the 2006 and 2008 EMS ISD bonds, with the first graduating class walking the stage in 2015. Since its founding, the school has embraced a culture of pride and tradition.

A number of unique artifacts and traditions mark CTHS’s early history: personalized bricks from the first graduating classes are set into the campus courtyard, and inaugural staff members received commemorative coins and purple Hawaiian shirts—symbols of unity and school spirit. For the school’s 10th anniversary, those same shirts were brought back to celebrate a decade of growth and achievement.
